Welcome Our Early Professionals Co-Chairs

AIA Columbus is excited to welcome new leadership to the Early Professionals (EP) Committee, Madison Contat, Assoc. AIA and Evan Goodwin, Assoc. AIA. As early professionals themselves, Madison and Evan are passionate about fostering connection, professional growth, and building on the strong foundations that the committee aims to achieve.

Madison Contat, Assoc. AIA is a Design Professional at The Collaborative + Acock. She earned her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and her graduate degree from the University of Tennessee. Madison is currently working on a renovation project for the City of Bowling Green’s Police Department, as well as an improvement project at the Centennial Terrace for the Sylvania Area Joint Recreation District. Outside of work, Madison enjoys reading, exploring new coffee shops, going on walks, and traveling. She looks forward to planning engaging events that strengthen the architectural community within Columbus.

Evan Goodwin, Assoc. AIA is a Design Professional at The Collaborative + Acock and a proud Bowling Green State University alum. He’s passionate about the built environment, with a focus on higher education and medical care projects. Currently, he is working on a residence hall renovation for Ohio State and a Mercy Health renovation that will update multiple of their medical offices. Outside of architecture, Evan frequents the gym and enjoys reading and being active. As Early Professional Co-Chair, his goals are to expand the EP group’s reach and create fun, welcoming spaces that allow young professionals to connect with peers and experienced architects alike.

Madison and Evan are looking forward to connecting with fellow early professionals and other AIA Columbus committees throughout the year.
