Help Shape the Next AIA Columbus City Guide

AIA Columbus is launching an exciting new initiative to create a modern Architecture City Guide for Columbus—and we’re looking for volunteers to help make it happen.

Years ago, AIA Columbus and the Columbus Architecture Foundation introduced resources such as a printed architecture map and the AIA Guide to Columbus, helping residents and visitors explore the city through architecture. Now, it’s time to reimagine that idea for today.

Led by the AIA Columbus Committee on Design, this new effort will explore what a contemporary city guide could become—whether as a mobile app, interactive website, printed map, or a combination of formats. The goal is to celebrate Columbus architecture, connect people to the built environment, and create a valuable public resource for our community.

We are seeking members and volunteers interested in design, history, research, writing, photography, technology, and community engagement. The task force will begin meeting in late summer.

If you would like to help shape how Columbus architecture is experienced and discovered, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact AIA Columbus Executive Director Elizabeth Krile at [email protected] to get involved.
