Ten interdisciplinary teams crafted bold and fantastical visions for Columbus in the 22nd century—from negotiating daily life with robots to sheltering in a flood-adapted Ohio Stadium, to building housing atop our highway interchanges.
Nearly 50 participants joined the workshop, including students from BGSU and OSU. Design professionals from firms such as GRAD Architects, Schooley Caldwell, Moody Nolan, Columbus Architecture Studio, Legat, MA Architects, and The Ohio State University contributed their expertise and imagination. Generous support from the AIA Ohio Foundation made this event possible. We look forward to sharing the teams’ work soon and encourage everyone to stay tuned for future exhibition details.
