Project Architect / Project Manager

We’re looking for a licensed architect who enjoys both design and project leadership – someone equally comfortable leading client conversations, coordinating consultants, and jumping into Revit to move projects forward.
About the Role:
As a Project Architect / Project Manager, you’ll lead hospitality and retail projects from early concept through construction while serving as a trusted advisor to clients and project teams. This role offers significant responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to help shape a growing firm.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple hospitality, retail, and commercial projects simultaneously.
- Lead clients through programming, design, documentation, permitting, and construction administration.
- Coordinate consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Produce and oversee drawings, renderings, presentations, and construction documents.
- Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative studio culture.
- Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development opportunities.
- Utilize emerging technologies and AI-enabled workflows to improve efficiency and deliver better outcomes.
- Support a culture focused on design excellence, responsiveness, and accountability.
Qualifications:
Required
- Licensed Architect (RA) with 5+ years of professional experience.
- Professional degree in architecture from an NAAB-accredited program; master’s degree preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and consultant teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Passion for design and commitment to delivering exceptional client service
Preferred
- Project management and client management experience.
- Experience in hospitality, restaurant, retail, or workplace projects.
- Knowledge of Ohio building codes and permitting processes.
- Experience with rendering and visualization tools.
- Curiosity and willingness to embrace AI integrations and emerging technologies.
- NCARB certification.
