Garmann Miller is seeking a full-time Interior Designer to join our Columbus, Ohio, area team. This role is ideal for a professional with 3–7 years in interior design or interior architecture.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Excellent communication and technical skills
- Coordinating/communicating project needs with the design team, which includes architects, engineers and marketing professionals
- Generate and develop dynamic design ideas mainly for K-12 education learning environments
- Planning, materiality detailing and furnishings
- Manage project expectations from concept design through construction administration
- Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and craftspeople.
- Work in all aspects of design, including construction documentation, samples management, budgeting and estimating.
- Collaborate with other team members to find design solutions that provide the best value to the client
