The Hidden Curriculums of Architecture will examine how architects’ education influences their designs. What political ideas do we inherit, and how do we pass them along? How can a fundamental change in teaching methods and formats create more empowering and equitable environments for those who use the spaces we craft? This presentation will thread together a series of design studios and design research projects across different institutions and communities, each offering valuable insights into how politics, economics, and diverse viewpoints in education and civic life might shape us.
