Healthcare Symposium

Hosted biennially by the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health (AAH), the AIA Columbus Healthcare Symposium brings together architects, healthcare providers, and community leaders for a day of critical dialogue and design exploration. Each symposium focuses on pressing issues impacting the healthcare landscape—from pandemics to disparities in rural and urban healthcare delivery. Participants gain valuable insights into how the built environment can influence health outcomes and take part in an interactive design charrette to explore architectural and planning solutions that expand healthcare access and integrate social support services.
