ARCHway Mentorship Program

AIA Columbus would like to invite young architects and emerging professionals to join the inaugural ARCHway mentorship program. ARCHway is a six session program that aims to connect young architects with firm leaders in the Columbus architectural community. Through thought provoking sessions, participants will experience multiple modes of interaction such as group mentoring, reverse mentoring, and peer mentoring.
ARCHway participants will:
  • Strengthen and explore pathways
  • Build network skills and abilities
  • Establish and grow professional and personal resources
The program will run from April - August. Sessions include:
Session 0 Career Journeys Beyond Design, An Introductory Session for Advisees only April 10
Session 1 Speed Mentoring Mixer April 18
Session 2 Stories of Architects: An Adviser Panel Discussion May 10
Session 3 Foster the People: An Advisee Focused Discussion June 13
Session 4 ImprovEdge Workshop on Generations Collaborating in the Workplace June 29
Session 5 Keynote presentation: Advocacy through Design Innovation July 18
Session 6 Final Reflections August 8

Interested young architects must have less than 10 years of professional experience and be AIA members (AIA or Associate AIA).

A committee of AIA members will review applications and select advisees. Applicants will be notified by April 6
Upon acceptance to ARCHway, a program fee of $300 will be due by April 10.
